Job Summary
The primary duties of this position are to inspect, test, clean, and label industrial Drives, PLCs, HMIs and General Controls pre-sale.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Verifying Part Numbers on All Units Processed
- Inspection, Cleaning and Testing of all Units
- Proper use of Shop Assets and Test Fixtures
- Power and Diagnostic Testing of All Units
- Programming
- Support Quality Methods, Processes and Procedures
- Support and Improve Quality of Final Product
- Support Development of Capabilities
- Performing Occasional Light Repair
- Processing of Pre-evaluation Units to RTS – Ready to Sell condition
- Proper Handling and Labeling on All Units
- Capture Estimated Parts and Labor Cost for Repairs
- Effective Time Management and Prioritization of Work
- Proper use of IT systems
- Provide your own Hand/Power tools
May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.
Production Level Metrics
Performance Requirements are defined and tracked on a Technician Level Program. Level 1 is considered Introductory level with the expectation of the technician advancing through within a 1-year period.
- The Radwell International Technician Levels are output-performance based; all levels have an associated minimum dollars per hour produced as defined below on this level chart.
Levels
- 1 — Gross Volume Produced per Month: $45,400; per Hour: $271.01
- 2 — Gross Volume Produced per Month: $75,900; per Hour: $451.79
- 3 — Gross Volume Produced per Month: $121,440; per Hour: $722.86
- 4 — Gross Volume Produced per Month: $153,390; per Hour: $948.75
- 5 — Gross Volume Produced per Month: $197,340; per Hour: $1,174.64
- 6 — Gross Volume Produced per Month: $235,290; per Hour: $1,400.54
- 7 — Gross Volume Produced per Month: $273,240; per Hour: $1,626.43
- The Actual Dollars Produced per Hour is determined by a basic calculation: Gross Dollars Produced before parts cost and adjustments divided by Total Hours Worked in payroll systems. Maintain this metric over the course of the year.
- Three consecutive months performing belowLevel minimum may trigger a Performance Improvement Plan. After the Plan period, continued downward trend may lead to a Level Down as determined by your Supervisor.
- Periodic aptitude testing (written and technical).
- Must complete a minimum quantity of items monthly.
- Maintain warranty percentage per ISO requirements.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Must have a proven track record in a similar technical environment
- Must understand the products from technical background and experience testing and troubleshooting
- Strong computer skills: ability to learn and understand Radwell computer systems to perform job tasks in an automated environment
- A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to identify needed improvements in existing processes and assist in implementations of changes
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends if necessary, to complete assignments on schedule and meet company goals and objectives
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to evaluate and solve problems as they occur

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One to Three Years Technical School Diploma or experience
- Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus
