Job summary

Oerlikon is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager for our Fort Saskatchewan facility. You will lead site EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

You will develop EHS strategies, manage audits and training, and act as the primary advisory link to site leadership while fostering a safety-first culture across all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• Professional EHS designation or certification is a plus.
• 10–15 years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Minimum 8 years of EHS leadership or management experience.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks.
• Experience leading regulatory compliance programs, investigations, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS programs and initiatives to align with business objectives.
• Develop and implement EHS strategies and drive a culture of safety.
• Serve as primary EHS advisor to site leadership; build partnerships with teams.
• Manage regulatory compliance, permits, records, and reporting obligations.
• Lead audits, training, emergencies, and continuous improvement activities.
