Oerlikon is seeking a QESH Manager to lead Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health at our Fort Saskatchewan site. You will drive strategic direction for QESH teams, ensure ISO 9001/45001 and other standards are met, and champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement across operations.

As a site leader, you will oversee laboratories and analytical testing, collaborate with Operations, HR and Engineering, and manage budgets for staff and compliance initiatives while representing the site

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in manufacturing environments.
  • 10+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience leading HSE programs, Quality systems and analytical labs.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • SAP and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic direction for Quality & EHS teams.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, NADCAP, AS9100, AS13100 and corporate QESH standards.
  • Strengthen safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee laboratory and analytical testing operations.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR & Engineering.
  • Manage budget for staff, labs, and compliance initiatives.
  • Represent site with regulators, contractors and global partners.

QESH Manager *

As a key member of the site's management team, this role is critical in shaping the standards that keep our people safe, our operations compliant, and our products and services trusted by our customers. This leadership position is instrumental in driving a culture of continuous improvement, safeguarding environmental stewardship, and ensuring excellence across all quality and safety programs. We are seeking a proactive, highly skilled professional who is passionate about building strong systems, fostering collaboration and influencing positive change throughout the site.

What You'll Do
  • Lead strategic direction for Quality & EHS teams.

  • 15+ years in manufacturing 10+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience leading HSE programs, Quality systems and Analytical labs.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • SAP and MS Office proficiency.
