Job summary

Kids And Company seeks an Inclusion Coordinator to lead inclusive practices in our early learning programs in Nova Scotia. You will coach educators, collaborate with families, and design individualized supports so every child can participate fully.

Role emphasizes compliance, documentation, and ongoing professional development. A strong background in ECE and inclusive education is required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 R.E.C.E. in Nova Scotia required.
• Inclusive education, child development and emergent curriculum knowledge.
• Excellent communication with families and professionals.
• Experience with children with disabilities or diverse needs.
• Empathy, reliability and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to document and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of inclusive, child-centered programs.
• Coach educators on inclusive practices and behavior strategies.
• Collaborate with families and community partners to support diverse needs.
• Support IPPs and daily routines to promote wellbeing.
• Maintain documentation, attendance and safety checks.
• Attend meetings and contribute to professional development.
• Ensure compliance with provincial acts and regulations.
