Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Kelowna offers a full-time Early Childhood Educator role to develop and implement a curriculum-aligned program that supports children's development. You will maintain a safe, engaging classroom and collaborate with families and staff to discuss progress and plan next steps.

The position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing professional development, and opportunities to contribute to a caring learning environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Educator Certificate required.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
