BrightPath Kids in Clayton Hills, BC is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a full-time on-site role with no evenings or weekends. You will implement BrightPath's curriculum, protect children's wellbeing, and collaborate with families and staff to nurture development.

Qualifications

• ECE certificate required.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe and caring environment for children.
• Assess children's abilities, interests, and needs; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Foster collaboration with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well‑being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co‑workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
