Job summary

BrightPath Kids in British Columbia is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to work with children aged 3-5 at our Clayton Hills center in a full-time role. The position offers daytime hours with no evenings or weekends and a competitive hourly pay range of $20.50–$24.00 plus benefits.

You will implement BrightPath's curriculum, ensure a safe, healthy classroom, and collaborate with families and staff to support each child's development.

Qualifications

• ECE Certificate required.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local Health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children ages 3-5.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?
