Job summary

Kids & Company is seeking an On-Call Supply Early Childhood Educator for Aurora, ON. The role supports children with an emergent curriculum, collaborates with specialists, and helps maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Qualified applicants are registered with the College of ECE, have current first aid, immunizations, and be able to lift up to 45 lbs. This on-call position offers flexibility and opportunities to contribute to a positive team and childcare services.

Qualifications

• ECE registration in good standing with the College of ECE.
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed and clear.
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.
• Up-to-date immunization records and two-step TB test.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum.
• Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being while fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists.
• Support children through classroom transitions.
• Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA.
• Participate in team meetings and workshops.
