Kids & Company seeks an Early Childhood Educator for on-call supply in Aurora, ON. The role involves maintaining documentation, supporting children's development, and ensuring health and safety in line with CCEYA guidelines.

You will collaborate with therapists and specialists, support transitions, and participate in team meetings to foster a nurturing learning environment. Eligible candidates must be registered ECEs in good standing and meet standard checks.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of ECE in good standing.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check.
• First Aid and CPR Level C.
• Up-to-date immunization records and two-step TB test.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum.
• Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being while fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists.
• Support children through classroom transitions.
• Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA.
• Participate in team meetings and workshops.
