Job summary

Calgary Public Library Foundation is seeking a Fundraising and Data Assistant to support donor engagement and data management in a busy non-profit setting.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, donor service, and collaborative teamwork within the Donor Engagement and Communications Team. The position requires strong organizational skills and flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a fundraising environment.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge (CRM) is an asset, but a willingness to learn new systems is valuable.
• Comfortable working in Excel and developing stronger data skills over time.
• Customer or donor service experience is an asset.
• Experience or interest in data management is an asset.
• Clear, friendly communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Donor Engagement and Communications Team.
• Assist with donor communications, mailing lists, calendars, and documentation updates.
• Manage data entry, gift coding, and donor thank-you processes with care and consistency.
• Support events setup, execution, and takedown as needed.
• Assist Executive Team with administrative tasks and other duties.
