Job summary

YWCA Calgary is seeking a Fund Development Associate to support a broad range of fundraising activities, including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundations. You will manage donor relationships, contribute to revenue growth, and collaborate with teams to advance donor engagement and stewardship.

The role is 37.5 hours per week with a Hybrid Work Arrangement. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to support events and fundraising activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of donor fundraising experience.
• Knowledge of donor engagement and stewardship best practices.
• Experience coordinating donor meetings, proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor and prospect relationships through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Research and prioritize prospective donors and supporters.
• Coordinate donor meetings, tours, and engagement opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, cases for support, and donor correspondence.
• Monitor gift commitments and support gift administration processes.
• Represent YWCA Calgary at events and community engagement opportunities.
