Job summary

Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar is seeking a Dishwasher to support the Back of House by keeping kitchen and storage areas clean and organized, and by handling produce prep under Manager guidance.

The ideal candidate brings kitchen experience, is physically capable of long shifts, and can work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A team-focused attitude and reliability are essential in this casual, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or fast food chain is a plus.
• Physically demanding tasks: standing long periods, lifting 50 lbs, bending and reaching.
• Ability to handle knives and cleaning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the quality and quantity of delivered items
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station up to policy standards
• Keeps storage places organized where all supplies are visible
• Works closely with Line Cooks to ensure a smooth service
• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, etc. in a timely manner
• Prepares produce and ingredients with instructions from the Manager
• Provides satisfaction by ensuring guests and staff are using clean dishes and utensils
• Empties out garage, compost and recycling bins
• Breaks down boxes and containers to put them in the recycling
• Keeps property grounds clean by sweeping outside, shovelling snow, etc. (where applicable)

What Are We Looking For?

• Open and flexible availability from 8 AM to 12 AM, including evenings and weekends
• Able to complete physically demanding tasks – standing for long periods, lifting 50 lbs, bending and reaching, etc.
• Comfortable with handling a knife and cleaning solutions
• Experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or fast food chain (bonus)
