An established industry player is seeking a Director of People & Culture to lead their HR initiatives and enhance employee experience. The Director, People & Culture is responsible for leading Carefor’s people and culture services, enabling the organization to deliver exceptional client care while prioritizing optimal employee experience and culture. Within a highly unionized environment, the Director provides leadership and expertise in human resource planning, labour & employee relations, talent management, compensation, compliance, equity, diversity, inclusion and culture. The Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a people and culture plan and budget aligned with Carefor’s strategic plan, vision, mission, and values and overseeing the development and implementation of all human resources policies and programs.
Providing motivational leadership and direction, the Director builds and fosters a high performing people and culture team, while providing support as a trusted coach and strategic partner to leaders throughout the organization.
