Our client is seeking an impactful Human Resources Business Partner to join a mission-oriented and dynamic leadership team. This role involves acting as both a strategic consultant and a collaborative partner, engaging with leaders across the organization to co-design and implement a progressive people strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to leaders at all levels by aligning human capital strategies with business priorities and championing people-first initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the development and management of compensation programs, including salary structures, total rewards, and incentive plans, ensuring equity and market alignment through data-driven insights.
- DEI Leadership: Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives by developing impactful programs, policies, and partnerships that foster a more inclusive workplace.
- Career Pathing & Development: Design and refine career pathways, development initiatives, and leadership pipelines that promote employee growth and internal advancement.
- Organizational Design & Transformation: Lead workforce planning and organizational structuring efforts, especially during transitions or growth phases, to support scalable and strategic design.
- Employee Experience & Culture: Promote a culture of engagement and belonging by implementing values-based initiatives, events, and rituals that strengthen employee connection.
- End-to-End Employee Journey: Craft a cohesive employee experience — from talent acquisition and onboarding to retention and professional development of top performers.
- Performance Management Systems: Create and enhance performance management frameworks that encourage feedback, growth, and accountability in collaboration with leadership.
- Change Management: Support cross-functional change initiatives by partnering with leaders to align teams and navigate organizational transformation.
- HR Metrics & Insights: Leverage people analytics to drive strategy, assess program impact, and support data-informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including a minimum of 3 years as an HR Business Partner in a strategic capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
- Proven experience designing and administering compensation and rewards programs.
- Demonstrated success in leading DEI efforts and fostering inclusive environments.
- Skilled in career development strategy, organizational planning, and workforce design.
- Business-minded, agile, and solution-driven with strong analytical thinking.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing across leadership levels.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience working with executive teams in fast-paced, mission-led settings.
- Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment law is a plus.
