The People & Culture Manager serves as the key relationship manager within the People & Culture Resources Department, playing a vital role in cultivating a healthy, high-performing organizational culture. This position is responsible for leading talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Central to the role is the advancement of Compassion’s cultural behaviours and core values, fostering a people-focused and purpose-driven workplace environment aligned with Compassion's mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Ideal candidates will have a growth mindset, be self-aware, and excel in collaborative change management. They should possess extensive experience in HR leadership, including change management, stakeholder engagement, data reporting, and compliance across multiple provinces. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Dayforce) and Microsoft Office are essential. Candidates must align with Compassion’s Christian ethos and demonstrate understanding of broad ecumenical perspectives.
We prioritize a remote-first, digital engagement environment that supports flexible work arrangements, including occasional travel and overtime. Regular in-person meetings are expected twice a year for leadership.
