Recruitment Specialist at LeverageTek Staffing Solutions

LeverageTek is actively seeking an HR Manager for a permanent / fulltime opportunity with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Ottawa preferred, but open to Montreal, or Toronto Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

Key Tasks

  • Lead and manage core HR programs including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local employment laws and company standards.
  • Support organizational change and development initiatives in line with business goals.
  • Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring consistent and effective delivery of HR services.
  • Partner with leadership to address workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Facilitate performance review processes and support managers in delivering feedback and coaching.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions on HR-related topics to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitor HR metrics and use data to inform decisions and improve processes.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong technical HR skills across key functional areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, and organizational development
  • Experience working with enterprise-level HR management systems (HRMS) is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with a strong focus on growth and adaptability
