HYREON Talent Solutions is seeking a Power Generation Development Director for multiple locations across Canada.

You will lead generation asset development from concept to financial close, selecting turbine and engine technology and negotiating EPC contracts. This role demands strategic leadership and deep energy market knowledge to optimize on-site or behind-the-meter generation strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading gas-fired or cogeneration projects
• Experience from concept through financial close
• Understanding of EPC contractor selection and negotiations
• Experience with on-site or behind-the-meter generation (PPA, tolling, energy services)
• Realism about long-lead equipment timelines in current market

Responsibilities

• Develop generation assets from concept through financial close.
