BBA Consultants in Canada seeks a renewable power professional to source and lead large-scale energy projects, primarily data centres, across Canada with expansion into the U.S. You will drive modelling, optimization and delivery of wind, solar, BESS, and hybrid systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a related discipline from a recognized university.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data centre development and execution, wind and/or solar power energy, consulting engineering, business development and project execution.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
• Available to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Source and ensure successful delivery of power projects for large-load clients, primarily data centres.
• Support other industrial, community and utility clients in remote or partially grid-connected environments.
• Lead modelling, optimization and delivery of renewable/hybrid energy projects (wind, solar PV, BESS, thermal, hydroelectric).
• Lead the New Large Loads business line with national and international focus and define market strategy.
