Job summary

BBA is seeking a renewable power professional to source and deliver large-scale data centre projects across Canada and beyond. You will drive modelling and optimization of wind, solar, BESS and hydroelectric systems, coordinating cross-country teams to ensure execution excellence.

The role requires senior-level experience in data centre development, grid interconnections and project delivery, with travel to domestic and international destinations as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Professional Engineer in Canada (P.Eng.) registration required.
• Experience in data centre development and execution, wind and/or solar energy, consulting engineering, business development and project execution.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Source and ensure successful delivery of power projects for large-load clients, including data centres.
• Lead modelling, optimization and delivery of renewable and hybrid power systems.
• Coordinate engineering and design activities across disciplines in Canada and the USA.
• Develop market strategy and oversee performance for the New Large Loads line.
