Job summary
HUB International in Vancouver is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive regional life insurance sales, recruit advisors and blocks of business, and build strong advisor relationships across HUB. You will deliver holistic insurance solutions, promote HUB tools, represent HUB at industry events, and participate in campaigns while continuously learning through industry training to stay ahead.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in life insurance, post-secondary education, and a commitment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of life insurance industry experience
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Life License Qualification Program is an asset
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and tax regulations
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in training and mentoring for prospecting
- Interest in pursuing QAFP, CFP, CLU certifications
Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales in all lines of life insurance business
- Recruit advisors and blocks of business to HUB
- Build strong advisor relationships with HUB Advisors
- Provide holistic insurance solutions to brokers based on client needs
- Promote HUB tools and resources to HUB advisors
- Represent HUB at industry and internal meetings
- Participate in campaigns to drive new insurance business
- Engage in ongoing industry training to stay informed
