Intact is hiring a unit head for automobile route estimation in a growing team. The role offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities to lead quality and pricing improvements across suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You will guide estimators, support staff, and partners, ensuring training, up-to-date practices, and compliance while driving efficiency and teamwork. Priority on leadership and customer-focused results.

Competenze

• Diploma of college studies or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 3 to 5 years of management experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of the estimation process and estimation software is an asset.
• Being a member of the Groupement des assureurs automobiles (GAA) is an asset.
• Experience in insurance and knowledge of vehicle repair principles.
• Demonstrate leadership factors within Intact.
• Strong analytical, synthesis and decision-making skills.
• Project and change management skills.
• Ability to engage and mobilize your team.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate activities to meet quality and compliance objectives for repairs performed by suppliers, in line with Intact policies.
• Provide support to internal and external estimators and various Intact resources.
• Ensure training and technical support for employees, staying up to date on software and techniques.
• Review files and provide recommendations in collaboration with experts.
• Perform quality controls of estimates produced by internal estimators and body shops, ensuring policy compliance and customer service standards.
• Contribute to sector efficiency through analyses and recommendations.
• Organize, plan and control resources to optimize team performance.
• Manage team performance with clear expectations and regular feedback.
• Support networks for claims related to estimates.
• Participate in committees and keep up with industry techniques.

Salary range (but not limited to): 87,200 - 106,600

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 12%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous :

• Diriger et coordonner les activités afin d'atteindre les objectifs de qualité et de conformité des réparations effectuées par les fournisseurs, dans le respect des politiques et dans l'application des normes et procédures d'Intact.
• Agir à titre de personne-ressource en fournissant un soutien aux estimateurs internes et externes, ainsi qu'aux différentes ressources d'Intact, pour répondre à leurs questions.
• Assurer la formation et le soutien technique de ses employés en se tenant à jour continuellement sur les logiciels et les techniques utilisés.
• En collaboration avec les experts, vérifier les dossiers de subrogation des autres assureurs et apporter les recommandations appropriées.
• Faire les contrôles de la qualité des estimations produites par l'ensemble des estimateurs internes et carrossiers en s'assurant du respect des politiques et de l'application des normes et procédures, y compris celles concernant le service à la clientèle.
• Accroître l'efficacité de son secteur en participant à l'élaboration d'analyses et de recommandations.
• Gérer les activités de son équipe en organisant, planifiant et contrôlant l'utilisation optimale des ressources humaines, financières et matérielles selon le budget, tout en favorisant le travail d'équipe.
• Assurer la gestion de la performance des employés de l'équipe, notamment en établissant des attentes claires, en assurant un suivi régulier et en fournissant une rétroaction continue.
• Soutenir les équipes de nos réseaux confiance pour les plaintes relatives aux estimations.
• Participer à différents comités existants dans le domaine de l'estimation et être au fait des techniques de l'industrie.

Ce que vous mettrez à profit :
