Digital Media Recruitment Conversion Assistant - Full-Time (Term)

This is a full‑time, 3‑year term appointment beginning approximately February 2, 2026. Reporting to the Dean, Dhillon School of Business, the main purpose of this position is to support the conversion of interested prospects, generated through a longitudinal digital promotion campaign, into completed applications and enrolments through recruitment conversion. The role will focus on middle‑ and lower‑funnel engagement, particularly with individuals who have incomplete applications or webinar registrants, through coordinated communications and targeted follow‑up messaging. The position collaborates closely with program coordinators, marketing staff, Student Enrolment and Registrar Services (SEARS), and the digital marketing agency, in support of conversion rate optimisation and admission cycle optimisation.

The incumbent will perform a variety of duties including:

  • Monitor and manage applicant pipelines at key stages (application preparation, submission, and decision).
  • Engage prospects with incomplete applications through timely reminders and tailored messaging.
  • Execute micro‑campaigns for warm leads, including webinar follow‑ups and deadline reminders.
  • Maintain CRM records and contribute to funnel performance, by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and help provide actionable insights to inform future recruitment decisions and maximise return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and the digital marketing agency to ensure accurate and effective campaign assets are deployed across various funnel stages, and where relevant help identify the need for new assets.
  • Contribute to events that support recruitment and retention, such as strategic student engagement events and other university recruitment events.
  • Any other digital media marketing duties as assigned.

Campus: Lethbridge, with some ability for remote work and work in Calgary.

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on marketing or communications/journalism.
  • Minimum 3 years of digital media experience, preferably 5+ years of digital media experience.
  • Practical experience in digital media platforms and digital media user experience.
  • Practical experience of digital user design, content management and the creative development process.
  • Practical experience of digital content creation/editing skills for a variety of stakeholders and audience.
  • Conceptual thinking with problem solving, time management, strong interpersonal, promotional and communication skills.
  • Technology skills including content management systems, CRM, social media systems and tools; analytics and reporting tools, etc.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs as part of event set up.
Compensation

Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $4,691.00 - $5,246.00 monthly

Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $4,691.00 - $5,799.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 10)
