Job summary

Save-On-Foods, a division of Pattison Food Group, is seeking a Delivery Driver in Vernon, BC. Deliver groceries with a fully equipped van and provide exceptional service from store to door.

You will work with the online shopping team to resolve service issues, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure safety on the road. Open availability preferred for this fast-paced, community-focused role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to operate GPS apps and smartphones.
• Valid full Class 5 BC driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proactive, reliable and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team to resolve service issues.
• Meet operations standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and maintain it well.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Vernon, BC. Open availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both days and evenings.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
