Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver in West Vancouver, BC. You will deliver groceries in a van, providing customer-first service and working with the online shopping team to resolve issues. You’ll operate the vehicle safely and maintain its cleanliness and roadworthiness.

The role requires a valid BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and Serving It Right or willingness to obtain. Proficiency with GPS apps and smartphones is expected, with eligibility for benefits and pension as

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.
• Clean driver’s abstract and driving record.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform deliveries in all weather.
• Proficiency with mobile technology including GPS apps and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service for returns/refunds.
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely following traffic rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle’s cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in West Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both days and evenings.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
