Job summary

Save-On-Foods delivery driver role in North Vancouver, BC for Pattison Food Group. You will deliver groceries in a van, provide exceptional customer service from store to door, and collaborate with the online shopping team to resolve issues.

The company provides the vehicle and covers gas, insurance, and maintenance; you must have a BC Class 5 license, Serving It Right, and customer-service experience. Travel and physical duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Valid, full BC Class 5 driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with a customer-first approach.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and service center to handle returns and refunds.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely and maintain its cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in North Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
