Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver in Chilliwack, BC. You will deliver groceries using a fully equipped van, delivering exceptional customer-first service from store to door.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid BC Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record.

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending and standing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team to resolve service issues including returns/refunds.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, and operate the delivery vehicle safely.
• Travel to delivery locations across various weather conditions.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
