Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Kamloops, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from the store to customers' doors. You will deliver in a van, providing a friendly, customer-first experience and collaborating with the online shopping team to resolve issues.

The role requires a BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and Serving It Right (or willingness to obtain). Physical duties include lifting up to 40 pounds and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van at Save-On-Foods locations in Kamloops
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department
• Operate delivery vehicle safely according to traffic laws
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle
• Perform other duties as assigned

You will be responsible for: Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service. Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc. Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department. Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road. Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness. Other duties as assigned.

You have: A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC. A clean driver's abstract. A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain. Experience in a customer service-related role. A strong work ethic and let's get it done attitude. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions. Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
