Job summary

Pattison Food Group is hiring a Delivery Driver for Save-On-Foods in Quesnel, BC. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide excellent customer service from the store to the customer's door.

We supply the company vehicle and cover gas, insurance, and maintenance costs. Candidates must hold a BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and be comfortable with GPS tech and mobile devices. Compensation is $18.25 per hour with benefits and pension eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A valid, full class 5 BC driver’s license.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Proficiency with GPS and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van and provide customer-first service.
• Coordinate with Online Shopping team to handle returns or refunds.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely following traffic laws.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle’s cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
