Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Quesnel, BC, is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our team. You will deliver groceries in a company vehicle and provide customer-first service, working with online shopping and customer service to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.

You must hold a valid BC Class 5 license with a clean abstract, have customer service experience, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds and handle physical duties in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing and pushing.
• Proficiency with mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team and customer service center to resolve service recovery issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely in adherence to traffic rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Quesnel, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
