Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring delivery drivers for Delta, BC. You will deliver groceries in a company van and provide exceptional customer-first service, working with the online shopping team to handle returns and refunds.

You will drive safely, maintain the vehicle, and meet performance standards in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a BC Class 5 license with a clean record, a Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with proficiency

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Valid, full Class 5 BC driver's license with clean abstract.
• Current Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with mobile technology and GPS apps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve service recovery situations.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely in all weather conditions.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle to high cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a delivery driver at our South Surrey/Delta Save-On-Foods locations.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
