Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Fort St. John, BC is hiring delivery drivers to bring groceries from store to door, delivering with a fully equipped van and prioritizing customer-first service.

You will collaborate with online shopping and customer service to resolve issues, meet department standards, and drive safely in all weather while maintaining the vehicle.

Qualifications

• Valid, full Class 5 BC driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Experience in a customer service-related role
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties
• Proficiency with mobile technology including GPS

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van while providing great customer service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Fort St. John, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC..
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and 'let's get it done' attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
