Save-On-Foods delivery driver role at Prince Rupert, BC, a division of Pattison Food Group Ltd. Join our growing team focused on providing Always Customer First Service from store to door. We supply the vehicle and cover gas, insurance, maintenance.

Get paid weekly and enjoy team member discounts. Starting pay is 19.00–22.00 CAD per hour with a $2 premium for open availability. You will deliver groceries in a van, work with online shopping and customer service, and maintain vehicle condition.

Qualifications

• A valid, full BC Class 5 driver’s license is required.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform deliveries in all weather.
• Proficiency with GPS apps and smartphones for delivery routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with a customer-first approach.
• Collaborate with online shopping and customer service to resolve issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and follow traffic laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Just show up and drive!We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Prince Rupert, BC.

What You’ll Earn $19.00/hr -$22.00/hr. Your starting rate will be determined based on your previous delivery, driving, and customer service experience. Plus, earn an additional $2.00/hour premium for open availability. This premium is subject to change at any time at the discretion of Save-On-Foods.

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones
