Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Prince Rupert, BC is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our growing online shopping fulfillment team, delivering groceries from the store to customers’ doors with a focus on customer-first service.

We provide the company vehicle, cover gas, insurance and maintenance, and a competitive hourly wage of $19.00–$22.00 per hour with a $2.00 per hour premium for open availability. Apply today to start earning and growing with us.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van and provide first-class service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team to resolve customer service issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely following road rules.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Prince Rupert, BC.

What You’ll Earn

$19.00/hr -$22.00/hr.

Your starting rate will be determined based on your previous delivery, driving, and customer service experience.

Plus, earn an additional $2.00/hour premium for open availability. This premium is subject to change at any time at the discretion of Save-On-Foods.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones
