A leading independent business advisory firm that provides practical solutions to complex financial and operation problems that deals with individuals and families in financial difficulty is hiring a / Debt Solutions Account Manager to support their surrounding areas. This individual should be proactive and passionate about their contribution to the firm.
Position Summary: The primary responsibility as a Client Solutions Advisor, internally known as Debt Solutions Manager, is to speak with potential clients to assist them in resolving their financial situation and recommending a solution involving one of the services offered.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from potential clients to determine if one of our services (bankruptcy and consumer proposal) is best suited to resolve their financial situation and direct clients to appropriate resources and affiliates when our solutions are not suitable.
- Work with different types of leads from multiple sources and adapt to varying demands.
- Meet and exceed performance metrics and benchmarks related to conversation rates.
- Strive to improve metrics and increase conversation rates while balancing client satisfaction.
- Create a superior customer experience through engagement, listening and understanding the needs of potential clients, showing compassion and empathy while guiding them through their options.
- Develop, maintain and apply knowledge of the specialized industry.
- Support the growth of the firm’s insolvency practice and respond to initial contacts from insolvent persons via in person, telephone, or email.
- Meet clients face-to-face or by telephone, understand their needs and match them to the most appropriate solution in the client’s best interests.
- Liaise with centralized teams that handle initial calls, web inquiries, and other departments.
- Draft documentation and input data into appropriate systems; document client situations clearly to facilitate back-office processing.
- Maintain the relationship with the debtor during administration of the estate, including communicating material issues to the debtor.
- Arrange final meetings with clients to sign required documents and resolve any outstanding issues with the administrative team.
- Attend training, team meetings and firm events as required.
Qualifications
- Proven willingness to develop and grow a practice area with support from firm management.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus in Sales, Business, Finance or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment working on incoming leads in a regulated financial sector.
- Motivated to succeed while maintaining highly professional and ethical standards, personal integrity, honesty, empathy and trustworthiness.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and empathize with others.
- Excellent time management and verbal/communication skills.
- High computer literacy, including the ability to learn new programs and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to operate with urgency and focus.
- Enrollment in the Trustee’s program or willingness to enroll would be an asset.
- Completion of the Insolvency Administrator’s Course would be an asset but is not required.
- Consumer insolvency practice experience is considered an asset.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure clients’ needs are actively heard and met.
- Minimum of two to four years of successful strategic sales experience.
- Consumer insolvency practice experience is an asset.
