Job summary

Axxess International Inc. is seeking a Customs Release Specialist to join our customs department in Québec. You will manage client files, validate data, and handle invoicing while coordinating with carriers and suppliers.

The role requires 5+ years in customs with an international freight forwarder, and fluency in French and English. We offer work-from-home 2 days/week after probation, group insurance, RRSP with employer contribution, EAP, and training fully covered.

Responsibilities

• Open client files, enter data, validate information, verify credit and handle invoicing.
• Obtain additional information/documents from clients, suppliers, carriers, Customs, and offices as needed.
• Identify changes to profiles and notify the pricing specialist.
• Communicate regularly and answer questions from clients and truck drivers.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Open client files, enter data, validate information, verify credit, and handle invoicing.
• Obtain any additional information or documents needed from clients, suppliers, carriers, Customs, and other Axxess offices when required.
• Identify changes to be made to profiles and notify the intermediate or senior pricing specialist.
• Communicate regularly and answer basic questions from clients and truck drivers.

What we are looking for:

• You are bilingual in French and English in order to communicate with future colleagues and clients located across Canada and worldwide.
• You have studied logistics or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 5 years experience in customs and with an international freight forwarder.
• You are autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• You enjoy teamwork and are motivated to take on new challenges!
