Job summary

Axxess International Inc. is seeking a Canada Customs Clerk to support our customs operations. You will handle data entry, file management, and documentation validation while coordinating with colleagues across Canada and the United States.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Experience in administrative, data entry, or customer service roles is preferred (≈1 year).

Responsibilities

• Open, update, and follow up on customs files.
• Enter and validate data in operational systems.
• Ensure all required information and documentation are included in each file.
• Follow up on files with stakeholders.
• Support colleagues with administrative tasks.
• Respond to routine inquiries from clients or direct to the right person.
• Perform other duties to support the department.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Opening, updating, and following up on customs files;

Entering and validating data in our various operational systems;

Ensuring that all required information and documentation are included in each file;

Following up on files with the appropriate stakeholders;

Supporting your colleagues with various administrative and clerical tasks;

Responding to routine inquiries from internal and external clients or directing them to the appropriate person;

Performing any other related duties required to support the department’s operations.

The profile we are looking for:

You have a high school diploma or equivalent education;

You ideally have approximately one year of experience in an administrative, data entry, customer service, or related role;

You are comfortable communicating in both French and English, verbally and in writing, with colleagues and clients across Canada and the United States;

You are proficient with computer tools, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel, and you can quickly learn new systems;

You are detail-oriented, organized, and thorough. You communicate clearly, enjoy working collaboratively, and are committed to providing quality service.

Knowledge of customs documents or procedures is considered an asset.
