Job summary

GardaWorld in Hamilton, Ontario, is looking for a Concierge Security Guard to join our Security Services team on a temporary schedule (Mon-Fri, 15:00–23:00). You will welcome visitors, verify IDs, control access, conduct foot patrols, inspect equipment, and coordinate with emergency teams.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone

Schedule: Temporary Monday to Friday 15:00-23:00
