About the Role

We’re looking for a Creative Project Lead who’s equal parts visionary and doer. Someone who can take a rough concept and turn it into polished, compelling creative that makes people stop scrolling.

You’ll lead creative projects from concept through execution, bringing structure to the creative process while keeping space for bold ideas. One day you might be building a campaign brief or mood board; the next, you’re reviewing design work, writing a video script, or presenting creative concepts to leadership.

This role is 60% creative direction, 40% hands-on design and project leadership. It’s perfect for someone who’s ready to own the creative process end-to-end and help shape how Productive Shop shows up visually and strategically across all digital platforms.

What You’ll Do

Creative Leadership

  • Develop campaign concepts, scripts, and visuals that align with our brand and client strategy
  • Lead brainstorming sessions, bringing ideas that are both creatively bold and strategically sound
  • Create mood boards, creative briefs, and visual direction that set the tone for each project
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines so everything we produce feels sharp, cohesive, and distinct

Execution & Collaboration

  • Execute design work in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite when needed — you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Manage multiple creative projects from kickoff to delivery, balancing creative vision with deadlines
  • Partner with marketing, content, and leadership to ensure every asset connects back to the business goal
  • Review creative work, give clear feedback, and uphold quality across all deliverables

Optimization & Innovation

  • Track how creative assets perform and use that data to inform what we do next
  • Bring fresh ideas that push our creative standards higher each quarter
  • Stay plugged into creative, digital, and social trends, and bring what’s relevant back to the team
What You Bring
  • 5–8 years in a creative, digital design, or brand role (agency or in-house)
  • Strong experience working with Canadian or US-based brands or clients
  • Proven experience leading creative projects end-to-end, from idea to execution
  • Strong design skills with proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience writing and conceptualizing for video, digital, and social campaigns
  • A portfolio that shows both concept thinking and design craft
  • Clear communicator who can present creative ideas with confidence
  • Strong organizational skills - you keep timelines tight and standards high
  • Bonus points for motion graphics, video production, or branding experience
