Job description

Position: Cook (Japanese food) (6 vacancies)

Hours of work/week: Full time 30~40 hours/week
Compensation: $19/hr

Position Requirements:

  1. Completion of college cooking/culinary arts program OR Minimum 2 years of cooking experience/cook apprentice experience is required (Preferably Japanese Cooking experience)
  2. Completion of Secondary School is required
  3. Cook certificate or college diploma in cooking is preferred

Duties as a Japanese cuisine cook:

  1. Prepare/cook Japanese food
  2. Prepare and make the sauces used in the restaurant
  3. Manage kitchen operations and safety, keep equipment and tools clean and manage kitchen’s hygiene
