Qualifications

Job description

Workrise is seeking a Contract Specialist to support the execution and administration of complex capital and maintenance project contracts. This role ensures contractual compliance, facilitates communication between stakeholders, and helps resolve issues across projects valued up to $400MM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sourcing and administration of contracts from execution through closeout.
  • Draft purchase orders, scopes of work, exhibits, and pricing documentation.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and ensure all requirements are reflected in final documents.
  • Manage contractor documentation, communication, and change order workflows.
  • Monitor contract compliance and notify deviations or non-compliance.
  • Lead contract document control and retention activities.
  • Coordinate resolution of contractual issues with legal, project management, construction, and procurement teams.
  • Review and validate contractor invoices for compliance.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and notes related to contracts.
  • Support audit preparations and post-project closeout procedures.
  • Provide weekly updates on contract status and reporting.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business, legal, or technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience; or an Associate degree with 7–10 years of contract administration experience in construction, engineering, or legal functions, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of energy industry contracting processes and documentation.
  • Experience managing complex construction contracts with multiple stakeholders.
