Workrise is looking for a Contract Specialist to support the execution and administration of complex capital and maintenance project contracts. This high-impact role ensures contractual compliance, facilitates key communications between stakeholders, and helps drive timely issue resolution across projects valued up to $400MM.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sourcing and administration of contracts from execution through closeout.
- Draft purchase orders, scopes of work, exhibits, and pricing documentation.
- Participate in contract negotiations and ensure all functional requirements are reflected in final documents.
- Manage contractor documentation, communication, and change order workflows.
- Monitor contract compliance and provide clear notifications of deviations or non-compliance.
- Lead contract document control and retention activities.
- Coordinate resolution of contractual issues with internal teams (legal, project management, construction, procurement).
- Review and validate contractor invoices for contract compliance.
- Prepare contract-related meeting agendas and notes.
- Support audit preparation and participate in post-project closeout procedures.
- Provide weekly contract status updates and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business, legal, or technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience;
- — or an Associate degree with 7–10 years of contract administration experience in construction, engineering, or legal functions (preferably in the energy sector).
- Strong understanding of energy industry contracting processes and documentation.
- Experience administering complex construction contracts with multiple stakeholders.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Oracle
- Able to handle multiple priorities and resolve problems efficiently
