BrightPath Kids is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant or Registered Early Childhood Educator to work across two centres: Matheson East and Milverton, with shifts split between morning and afternoon. The role pays $17.60–$17.97 per hour, full-time on a contract through December 2026, with no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities include supporting RECEs, maintaining a safe learning environment, engaging children, and collaborating with families.

Qualificações

• High School or equivalent required; Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.

Additional Responsibilities: Candidates are accountable for own transportation. This position will be between two locations. Matheson East and Milverton. One centre in the morning and second centre in the afternoon.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Assistant or Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.

• Assisting RECE’s with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred
• Must meet province requirement for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.
