Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Matheson East, ON is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant to work closely with teachers and families to provide a welcoming, home-like environment for children in our care.

Responsibilities include supporting RECEs, maintaining safety, engaging children in activities, and collaborating with staff and families. The role also involves attending meetings and keeping materials organized, with benefits including a childcare discount and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

Pay Range: $17.95 - $19.00 per hour, Government Wage Enhancement offered on top of hourly rate for Full-Time staff

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.
