Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Cambridge, ON is hiring casual Early Childhood Assistant staff. Join a welcoming team within the Busy Bees global childcare community and help deliver safe, engaging learning experiences for children.

You’ll support RECEs in the classroom, foster collaboration with families and coworkers, and participate in staff meetings and professional development. The role offers daytime hours with no evenings or weekends and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent required.
• Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RECEs with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
