Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Ontario is hiring a Full-Time Early Childhood Assistant at Matheson East. You will support RECEs, help maintain a safe classroom, and engage children in activities while building positive relationships with families.

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent required; Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RECEs with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining a safe, healthy environment for children.
• Interacting with children to encourage participation.
• Collaborating with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Maintaining classroom materials and cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.
