BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care in Milverton, ON is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Assistant. You will support RECEs, foster a safe, engaging classroom, and assist with daily activities for children with diverse learning needs.

This full-time contract through December 2026 offers a competitive pay range, no evenings or weekend shifts, and benefits including a childcare discount, sick time, holidays, and health insurance. Travel between two locations is required.

Qualificações

• High School or equivalent required.
• Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience in childcare or with children with diverse learning or developmental delays preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) with classroom instruction.
• Maintain a safe environment for children's well-being.
• Engage with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities: Candidates are accountable for own transportation. This position will be between two locations. Matheson East and Milverton. One centre in the morning and second centre in the afternoon.

Requirements:

• High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred
• Must meet province requirement for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.
• 1 year of experience working in the childcare field or in a position with children who have diverse learned or developmental delays preferred
