Job summary

Autismservices in Melfort seeks a dedicated Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) to provide day-to-day personal care and support residents in meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Full-time, permanent role with day, evening and weekend shifts on a 56-shift cycle.

You will assist with activities of daily living, encourage independence, and maintain safety and dignity while delivering compassionate care in the Chronic Resident Unit at Parkland Place Facility.

Qualifications

• CCA certificate required.
• Valid driver's license where required.
• Food Safe certificate where required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic computer, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Shift: Days, Evenings, Weekends; 56 shifts of 8 hours per 12 weeks

Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning. Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.
