Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority in Melfort is hiring a Continuing Care Assistant for Parkland Place on a temporary, full-time basis. The role provides personal care and daily living support to residents, helping them meet physical, emotional and social needs while following care plans.

The position features day, evening and weekend shifts, 56 eight-hour shifts per 12 weeks, and a three-step pay band. Applicants should have a Continuing Care Assistant certificate and strong communication,

Qualifications

• Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA) is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and basic computer skills are needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and activities of daily living to residents to encourage optimum functioning.
• Support clients in meeting physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Follow approved care plans and collaborate with the health care team.
