A leading North American packaging company in Montreal is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal advice on corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of corporate law experience and be a member of the Québec Bar. Responsibilities include drafting agreements, managing disputes, and providing legal support to operational teams. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary, the Senior Legal Counsel will play a key role within the legal department. The position is based at Place Ville Marie and is on a hybrid work model.
The selected candidate will assume essential responsibilities in corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions operations.
