Job summary

AgeCare in Ontario is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate resident care under approved care plans, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment. You will observe resident needs, document care, and participate in training sessions to support high-quality outcomes.

The role requires PSW certification, understanding of sanitation and basic treatments, and adherence to IPAC policies.

Qualifications

• Graduated PSW certificate/diploma program.
• Knowledge of bedside care procedures and simple treatments.
• Familiar with IPAC policies and sanitation basics.
• Meets Ontario and national PSW standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitors care per plan and reports findings to supervisor.
• Documents resident care information as directed.
• Attends in-service education, staff meetings and workshops.
• Assists onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follows IPAC policies and procedures.
